Hello Ann Arbor, we are glad to be here.
We are the city’s newest pedal (and battery) powered, sixteen passenger, fun seeking, party bike. The bike is also referred to as a commercial quadricycle under Michigan law, a pedal trolley, a PedalPub, and many other names. However, we wanted to let you all know, we’re not ALL about drinking tours and bar crawls. Don’t get us wrong, we’re absolutely interested in what the MANY bars, restaurants, pubs, breweries, and distilleries in Ann Arbor have to offer. In fact, we have a pre-planned brewery tour, we’re working on a historical beer tour with Ann Arbor Beer Historian and Author of Ann Arbor Beer: A Hoppy History of Tree Town Brewing, David Bardallis, AND our tour pick-up and drop-off location is Ann Arbor Distilling Co.!
Aside from these libation fueled journeys, we also understand there is a ton of culture in A2. That’s why we’ve decided to create a list of pre-planned tours which allows our passengers a variety of experiences. Our Restaurant Tour is one of my favorites! We make three stops on this tour which include a progressive dinner. Our first stop will cover your appetizer, next you’ll be served your main course, followed by dessert. The A2 Art tour is a great way to see the art on the streets of Ann Arbor while we pedal our way to the Ann Arbor Art Center, WSG Gallery and the University of Michigan Museum of Art (suggested donation of $10, but not required). Tailgate Tours will be available closer to Football season where we’ll hit three local sports bars and drop you at the place you’d like to watch Coach Harbaugh and the Wolverines dominate (we’re not permitted to go near the stadium, but if the Big House is your final destination, we’ll get you as close as we can. We’d also like to pass along the information about our Heady Tour. The Heady Tour is will take passengers to three of Downtown Ann Arbor’s head shops, The Green Door dispensary, and one final stop before heading back in case you have the munchies. What?!? Pedaling can work up an appetite! We will also work with you on custom tours. You pick three destinations and we’ll plan the route. OR come out on the bike during your scheduled time and we’ll make suggestions on where to go based on the things you like to do! We can hit an art gallery, a brewery, and call ahead for a meal at a restaurant if that’s what you’d like to do.
The tours are scheduled for two hours, with a half hour between time slots to make sure waivers are signed, drinks at AADC are finished, helmets are issued, etc. Why would someone want to use High Five Pedal Tours for their outing? Well, bachelorette parties are ALWAYS a great time, company team building/bonding, birthdays, anniversaries, a night out with your best friends, or even if you wanted to experience Ann Arbor in a way you’ve never experienced it. Whatever the occasion may be, we would love to have the opportunity to make it an unforgettable experience for you and your guests!
