Sometimes, riding a fourteen person pedal trolley to tour Ann Arbor’s local breweries, restaurants, bookstores, and attractions, is necessary. High Five Pedal Tours is the bike you should use to do it. We love being outdoors, seeing new things and meeting new people, but most importantly, we enjoy introducing new people to new things.
Our main goal is to provide all riders with great time and an extraordinary experience. Whether we’re on a craft beer tour, progressive restaurant tour, bookstore tour, or a custom tour of your choosing, we’ll aim to make sure you’re getting the fun you’re seeking.
The establishments we’ve chosen within the list of set tours was hand-picked because we felt these businesses highlight the culture and history of Ann Arbor best. However, there are plenty of amazing places we did not include on our lists. If you’d like to go to places we don’t have listed, no problem! We’ll work with you to set up a custom tour.

We’ve hand-picked all locations within our set tours for a reason. We feel these establishments are some of the best of what Ann Arbor has to offer. Whether it’s their great food, craft beer selections, robust history, or their dynamic atmosphere, they’re on our lists for a reason.
If the place you’re looking for isn’t on our list, no problem, we’ll take you wherever you’d like to go, as long as we’re able to get the bike there and back within the scheduled time.
Our official tour pick-up and drop off area is Arbor Brewing Company Brewpub., located at 114 E. Washington, Ann Arbor, MI. There is parking in the parking structure directly across from ABC, down the street at E. Washington and Ashley.

You can choose from any stops we have listed or if you want to try something different we can do that too. The choice is yours!
Think of this three-hour-tour as a custom tour, only an hour longer. On this tour you have a little more time to make more stops, hang out on the bike a little longer, or spend a little more time in each of your chosen stops. It’s all up to you!

Can we make our own route for a tour?
We encourage our riders to pick their destination stops, this can make your pedal tour much more fun. You are able to choose up to three stops for a two hour tour. We are open to any suggestions, remember to HAVE FUN, LAUGH, and have a GREAT TIME!

Who should book a tour with High Five?
Anyone who would like to have a good time and experience what Ann Arbor has to offer!
The High Five tours are great for family reunions, ladies night/bachelorette parties, bachelor parties, birthday parties, company outings, and a night out with your group of friends.
What is the maximum number of people who can ride on the bike? How many pedal? What’s the least amount of people?
The High Five bike requires at least 10 riders in your party in order to book a tour. The trolley can hold a maximum of 14 people; at least 10 of these people will be pedaling the trolley.
What should we wear?
Casual and comfortable clothing is our recommendation. Wear tennis shoes, not sandals or flip-flops (for your safety and comfort). Remember to dress for the weather (we have plenty of store should you choose to bring a coat or need to shed some layers).
Can we make our own route for a tour?
We encourage our riders to pick their destination stops, this can make your pedal tour much more fun. You are able to choose up to three stops for a two hour tour. We are open to any suggestions, remember to HAVE FUN, LAUGH, and have a GREAT TIME!
Each rider will need a completed/signed Passenger Release of Liability Waiver and photo ID. Our driver is in charge and his/her decisions are final.
The renters have the option to decide when, where and how long to stay at each stop. We have the renter’s credit card and will pay any late fee and/or damage deposit.
Credit Cards cannot be used more than 60 days in advance. Please contact us by phone 734.274.9547 if you would like to reserve a date in advance of 60 days.
Can we drink on the bike?
Yes, but beer and wine only. NO hard liquor or mixed drinks. Glass is prohibited. Please bring your own plastic cups and/or cans if needed, they are not mandatory.
We have also made it very easy for you and your guests to enjoy adult beverages during the tours should you choose, you bring your own and each stop is no more than 10 minutes apart. Feel free to bring a cooler with pop, juice, or any other non-alcoholic beverages as well.
Are glass containers allowed on board?
This is a very strict policy. Growlers and wine bottles purchased at our stops which sell these items are the only exception – you must bring your own cooler/ice to chill. These items must be stored and unopened for the duration of the tour.
Does High Five supply food and beverage?
You can bring almost anything you would like to eat or drink. NO HARD LIQUOR, MIXED DRINKS or GLASSWARE is allowed (aside from sealed and unopened growlers/wine bottles purchased at one of our tour stops which sell these items). We have plenty of storage.
Late Returns and Damage
Late Returns:
- 15 min. late: $45
- 30 min. late: $90
- 60 min. late: $360 (cancels another tour)
- Damage Penalty: Cost of Repair
Have a good time, don’t be a jerk
Inappropriate behavior will result in termination of your tour & $200-$1000 penalty.
Examples include, but not limited to:
- Arriving intoxicated or becoming excessively intoxicated while on the tour
- Constant rude/lewd behavior toward the High Five pilot or pedestrians
- Jumping off the bike during a tour
- Public urination
- Public display of nudity

Hazardous Weather/Unforeseen Circumstances
High Five Pedal Tours also reserves the right to cancel any tour because of hazardous weather or unforeseen circumstances; if a tour is cancelled on behalf of High Five Pedal Tours or weather, customers will be offered the choice of a full refund or a rain check.
Inappropriate Behavior
Inappropriate Behavior will result in termination of your tour & $200-$1000 penalty and damage penalty.
Examples include, but not limited to:
- Arriving intoxicated or becoming excessively intoxicated while on the tour
- Constant rude/lewd behavior toward the High Five pilot or pedestrians
- Jumping off the bike during a tour
- Public urination
- Public display of nudity
Damage Penalty includes:
Cost of the repair, plus cost of loss of booked tours.
